Remember the winner of our very first photo competition held in 2013 - Nicole Addis' son Rydah William Addis Fricker, seen here to the right playing wheels on the bus; this little guy got his photo in the paper thanks to the Wairarapa Midweek, and won 6 months all access free membership to the toy library's full range of toys!!!!

Due to the success of this first competition we began another alongside our toy library awareness week celebrations. The winner of our 2014 photo competition was Lara’s daughter Rose Hooper, seen to the left playing with her Shirley Temple doll...very similar don’t you think?? Rose won herself a year’s membership to the toy library and an entry into the nationwide competition.

Not only did we have a photo competition during our toy awareness week celebrations, we also had a quiz competition. We have regular quiz competitions with smaller prizes but for toy library awareness week, we went a little crazy – with a convertible scooter toy. Marama Taylor scored her precious family this wicked prize by answering all the questions right, and being the only family to do so. Congrat’s to the Taylor family.
